Popping the breaker
The washer was popping the GFI receptacle..The gear case seal was out. The bearing started to make a noise, and it was leaking. On the stator. It caused it to pop. I ordered the parts. I had two removed the bolt on the agitator.. Remove the gear case and unplug the wires to it from underneath. I then removed the stator. Installed the stander on the new gear case and started to put it back together. I made sure I put some antiseize on it when I put it together. It was a little hard to take it apart.

My washer is making a loud bearing type noise when spinning. It just keeps getting louder over time. Would it be the gearbox assembly or is there a bearing in the outer tub. It sounds like a gear/bearing type noise similar to a hub bearing on a car when it is bad. But I read somewhere that there is a bearing in the outer tub. But nothing shows that. Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello Doug, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, the issue is most probably with the bearings. The bearings come along with the transmission assembly, part number PS16730208. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
