Does this come with the outer door thays the part I need or can you tell me whats it is called

I tried to take out an old water filter but upon twisting it, the water flow end broke off inside the slot. Also it appears that the release plate that releases the filter is missing, so I would need the filter housing parts for repair so I could put a new filter in. Can you help me? If I had a way to send photos to make your task easier, I would.

My water dispenser on this refrigerator does not work when a water filter is installed but does work when I remove the water filter. What would cause this?

Very little water coming out of dispenser. Replaced water filter and still have same issue. Verified water is getting to filter but not getting to Valve assembly.

Water filter is stuck in place - door for housing came off and I think that is what pops it out - will getting a new door fix it so the filter will pop out?

Over the time, the water filter gets blocked or clogged due to buildup from water. Replace it to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!
The filter housing leaks when filter is out and with new water valve and filter water just trickles. The ice maker still works fine. The housing is black and it’s a Whirlpool
