Water dispenser not working and ice maker not making. Ice buildup at the bottom of the freezer. What could be the problem?

Hi Kevin,
Thank you for your question. If there is water building up on the bottom of the refrigerator floor, the drain is clogged and it will need to thawed out and cleaned. If it has been more than 6 months since the water filter has been installed, it may be clogged and will need to be replaced. If the water filter is fine, we recommend checking the water inlet valve. Why does my ice maker leak water and clump up the ice into a block

Hi Mike, thank you for your question. There are two parts that you should check for this issue. The first part to test would be your water inlet valve. What could be happening is that the valve is sending up too much water so it is over filling. Which would cause the ice to be block and the maker to leak. The valve can be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 500 - 1500 ohms of resistance. If that part is testing correctly then you should look into your ice maker being the issue.
