Water leaking at front left of washer especially after heavy loads
Disconnected water and unplugged. Took off top and control panel. Replaced water inlet valve with new one. Simple plug and play connections. It was easy to see the old valve was bad with rust and sediment collecting on hot side.

Water was dripping while the machine wasn’t running
Removed two screws that held the control panel from the back with a power drill. Pop the control panel loose with a screwdriver from the top of the machine with the quick disconnects. After turning both the hot and cold water off I remove the hoses with pliers removed two screws with the power drill that hold the water inlet valve in place disconnected the wire harness plug And removed water inlet valve swap, the original harness to the new water inlet valve and follow the steps backwards to finish

Washer not filling then timing out before load done
Turned off power and water. Removed hoses/Unplugged power. Removed screws to open and access control panel. Removed existing valve first by pinching off 6 wire connectors then screws securing valve to washer base. At this point, I replaced with new valve and reattached everything. I also added screen washers to both hoses as I suspect it was built up debris in original valve impeding water flow through valve that led to problem…

Washer seems to go through all the correct sequences until it try’s to fill with water. You can hear it trying to get water in but it’s very faint water running sound and it clicks randomly in the area of the water fill valve solenoids. Is the water fill solenoid my problem or is it the circuit board?

When the washer begins a normal cycle it sounds like there is water hammer. A plumber came and installed two pressure valves to reduce the noise but it still continues to make a banging noise. When the normal wash setting is on cold, the machine calls for Hot water and while holding the pipe i can feel it making a banging sound every few seconds. Would replacing the inlet valve solve the problem? Thank you!
For model number WTW7300DW1
Hello AJ, Thank you for your inquiry. If the washer is already set to be getting only between 30-55 PSI for water pressure (which is the usual cause of water hammer), we would recommend checking the water inlet valve, the water pressure hose and the control board as this controls the flow of water coming into the washer. Check the hose and test the water inlet valve with a multimeter, and if replacing the valve does not fix the issue, you may have a faulty control board. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
