Is there a wider mounting plate that would work for hanging microwave? We have water line going through exact area where we have to drill to mount. If it was wider, we could screw above.

You may also need the mounting nut, part number PS12071279, and the mounting hardware kit, part number PS8689637. It contains the hardware and mounting template needed to install the microwave above a range. The mounting template, part number PS8760269, is also sold separately. It provides a guide for positioning the microwave mounting plate and locating the correct position for the microwave exhaust vent and power connection. We hope this helps!
