Hello Sandra, Thank you for the question. This is normally caused by a Defective Door Switch. This model has two of the PartSelect Number PS12071302 and one of the PartSelect Number PS1993466. You can replace the three switches or test them with a multi meter to determine what switch is defective. Hope this helps!
Microwave has been popping breaker on several occasions. Always seems to happen when door is closed. Door closes with a jar. On one of the last occassions after resetting the breaker the power did not come on in the microwave. A repairman man needed to reset fuse in microwave. Worked fine for a couple of months and then popped the breaker again. Same issue, breaker reset but power not restored in microwave. Any suggestions or do i have to purchase a new microwave.

Hello Ashok, Thank you for the question. This is normally an indication the In Line Fuse is blown and will need to be replaced. The fuse will normally show black or burn marks when blown. The Fuse is located on a fuse board on the right side of the unit behind the control panel. When it blows, it will cut power to the appliance. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Remove vent cover then remove touch screen control panel. When you remove control panel take photo of where everything is plugged in then unplug and remove control panel. 3 door switches located next to door in a plastic chassis. Test each switch with current tester. Remove the bad switch and replace with the new one. You tube DIY helped.
First thing I dir was search YouTube for any related videos and found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHj4H9Fdxrc, it was the exact problem my microwave was exhibiting. Once I verified the problem by troubleshooting, I removed the part and verified that the switches were working fine, the door latch assembly showed signs of wear which was the cause of the problem. After receiving the replacement part I installed it, verified that power was restored to the unit and reassembled the microwave, works fine, hope it lasts a long time!
