Microwave has no power to anything clock included
For model number 79080329310
Hello Mark, Thank you for the question. This is normally caused by a blown Fuse, and the Fuse may need to be replaced, PartSelect Number PS12071294. We hope this helps!
My microwave fuse keeps blowing. It seems to happen when we open the door. Even if is not in use at the time. Do you know what the problem could be?
For model number 79080329310
Hi Rick, thank you for the question. We would recommend checking the Door Switch, the part number is PS12071302. The door switch prevents the microwave from starting when the door is open. If that does not take care of the issue, we would suggest checking the PC Board, part number PS8689602, and Fuse, part number PS12071294. We hope this solves your problem.
Hello Sandi, Thank you for contacting us. We have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is PartSelect Number PS1765541. We hope this helps!
Remove vent cover then remove touch screen control panel. When you remove control panel take photo of where everything is plugged in then unplug and remove control panel. 3 door switches located next to door in a plastic chassis. Test each switch with current tester. Remove the bad switch and replace with the new one. You tube DIY helped.
First thing I dir was search YouTube for any related videos and found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHj4H9Fdxrc, it was the exact problem my microwave was exhibiting. Once I verified the problem by troubleshooting, I removed the part and verified that the switches were working fine, the door latch assembly showed signs of wear which was the cause of the problem. After receiving the replacement part I installed it, verified that power was restored to the unit and reassembled the microwave, works fine, hope it lasts a long time!
