Ice Dispense Repair on front door:
Just followed the directions to remove that front panel, removed the screws, as needed, to take out the unit. The new parts installed easily, in fact, much easier than I thought it would be. Just re-assembled unit and was back in business...

My part was received in only 3 days. It was exactly what I need. The directions sent with the ice door were really simple to follow. Within 30 minutes my family was back to getting ice from the refridgerator door. Nobody wants anything to tear up, but I hope if I do have troubles in the future, it's something that partselect carries parts for. These days it's hard to find a business that gives you want you want, quickly, for a fair price. If you were a movie I would give you two thumbs up. Most importantly, watch the video.Made installation real simple. Better than paper instructions that come with kit.

First we ordered a new solenoid. . . The little piece that opens and closes whenever you push the button to dispense ice. That definitely needed to be replaced, and it was easy to do. However, that didn't fix the problem, so we looked and looked at the assembly and decided that a spring was missing. We ordered the spring, and when it arrived, we found that it matched exactly one that was already on the assembly. :-) Not the problem. Thirty minutes later we figured it out,. The diagrams at part select were not helpful with this. It was a matter of figuring out how the magnetic weight fit into the assembly. That's all it was! Now we have an extra spring for the future.

The replacements parts were aftermarket parts so I could not simply replace the one piece I needed. I did replace all the original parts with the aftermarket parts and it works perfectly. I wish the design was closer to the original, but it is just as functional. The only problem I ran into was the images on the instruction sheet were difficult to see. The text however did an exceptional job of explaining each step.

shut water off to fridge. remove dust panel from bottom of fridge on back of fridge. remove screws on bracket that holds water valve. remove lines(2) that connect directly to top of water valve (keep track of which line goes to which side on top of valve). cut about 1/2 inch off of those 2 water lines. take those 2 water lines and just insert/push them into their proper location on top of new water valve. reattach bracket. replace dust panel. turn water back on to fridge and check for leaks.

I just lifed the old grate off and layed the new one in.

First I cut the power to the refrigerator. Followed the instructions for removing the door panel. Disconnected the electrical panel to the door controls. replaced the flap only and reassembled. Hate I had to by the solenoid when all I needed was the flap. Ordered the part and had it the next day, very fast shipping. I have used PartSelect for other appliance parts and had good service from them.

Installation was exactly as demonstrated on the "How To" video your website provided. Glad I came to you folks for parts, and will do so again. Parts arriving in a little less than 2 days from time ordered was a pleasant surprise.

I accessed the model with the model number, isolated the part and ordered it online. Very simple procedure and great online interface to identify the part. On receiving the part I disconnected the water line, followed the instructions to remove the bracket and then the valve. Re-attached the new valve and replaced the bracket. Attached the water supply and tested the valve. Once it all worked fine I moved the refrigerator back into position.

Watched the video and followed the instructions ... time to repair was slightly longer than expected due to the fact that my fridge had wood panels requiring removal. Still, the video was terrific since I am a visual type person.Part Select service was amazing ... ordered one day and the part arrived at my door the very next day. Had the same type of service on a previous repair to replace the ice crushing part of the ice maker. What a company!!! Thanks so much.
