My stove is a 1985 model and the coils did not heat evenly any more.
When I called to inquire if a new cartrige would fit in my 1985 model range the gentleman walked me through unplugging the old cartrige to see how it connected. I did this while on the phone with him and I then explained the connection; he told me that a new cartrige would just plug into the same place....and it did!
You had a great person at your service desk.
Thank you

Replaced a *grill* setup left us by the previous owner which vented on our knees - grease, etc. - not a bright idea.
Since it is an Admiral stovetop I rolled the dice that the Jenn-Air cartridge fit. It did.

It would be helpful to kitchen owners that part equivalency be shown since I could not find any model number(s) on the stove top.

The cartridge works very well (I expected that) and fit the contour of the black top like a glove. The price was the best of many sites I visited.

Pulled old element out, cleaned electrical connector. Cleaned drip pan. Replaced with new unit. The new element was of a better design than the original. I will order second set soon to match.

Eyes would not heat or heated very slowly.
Remove cartridge by pulling up and out of plug. Replace cartridge by sliding it into the plug.
Unpacking the cartridge took more time than replacing it.
I originally bought one, but it was so easy and arrived so quickly, I replaced the other cartridge as well.
Also, it was $60.00 less per cartridge than the Jenn-Aire company was selling them for!

I wanted to replace the grill unit and old coil cartridge
Once I cleaned the stove all I had to do was plug the two units in. The PartSelect person e-mailed and asked me what kind of prongs were on the old unit and figured out what part I needed to replace it.
I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner. Plus the price was reasonable.
I would use this service again and really appreciated the help.
