ARR620 Amana Range - Instructions

Very simple fix. I pulled the stove away from the wall and unplugged from outlet. Open the oven door and remove the oven racks. I used a phillips screw driver to remove the 2 screws holding the element and then pulled out. There were 2 wires attached to the element, those just pull off. Just reverse the process with the new element and you are good to go.

Oven was missing the broiler element when I moved in so the connector/wires to plug the broiler were no longer visable in the main part of the oven (otherwise the repair would take 2 minutes). Moved oven away from wall and unplugged. Unscrewed sheet metal on the back of oven and found the broiler wires (the only two NOT connected to something). Fed the wires back into the oven and plugged in the broiler. Attached the broilers to the top hooks. Put sheet metal back on. Everything worked fine. I wouldn't say I know much about fixing things, but this was a very straight-forward job.

Although this was not a repair I wanted to let you know your service was outstanding and the price quite reasonable. I am very happy to finally have a much needed second rack in my oven that was not there when I purchased my home. Thank You

removed the plug that had burned up on one of the top burners, replaced it with a new plug purchased from parts select., it was quite easy ,I unpluged stove and raise the top exposing wiring for the burners cut the old plug wiring and connected the wires for the new plug with connectors and shrink tubing supplied in the repair kit easy and quick repair

Lift burners out of plug discard old drip pans replace new drip pans into plugs and done .

Removed two screws-put burner in-pit screws back in! Turned over on and it worked!!!

Pulled out element, plugged in new element. About 5 seconds.

No problem Took off old ones and replaced with new.

Unplugged the stove, unscrewed the two screws, unplugged the element....plugged in the new element, screwed to top of stove, plugged stove back in and tested. Pizza was great!

Removed 2 screws from mounting plate in base element.

Disconnected 2 wires from bake element.

Installed new bake element in reverse.

Of course, power off first, then I removed the old one and inserted the new one, make sure everything in right place, then turn on power, simple as 1-2-3.

Switch off the breaker or unplug.
The screws were in tight so make sure your philips bite is new so you do not strip.
Pulled the element out and held the wires in place with a clothes pin so not to slip back in the stove.
Connect and cooked up pizza for dinner.

Took the old ones out and put in the new ones! What I am so pleased about it that I just went online and at Parts Select website it was easy to find what I needed, a fair price and the 4 bowls arrived within 2 days!
