replaced grill with coils (burners)
Just pulled the old grill out and plugged the new coil/double burner cartridge in. It took less than a minute to do. Easy as 1, 2, 3....and looks amazing! Just like a new cooktop!

Old element was worn out (burst in line)
First, I cut the power to the stove to be sure no electrical current could be conducted. Next, I removed the two screws that hold the heating element to the back of the stove. Then, I removed the oven racks and slowly slid the heating element out until I could see the wires that attached to it. Because the element has the female end of the wire, I pulled the male ends out of both the left and right side of the element.. This releases the old element and I discarded it. Next, I took the new element, slide the male ends into the new female ends that protruded from both the right and left side of the element. I crimped these slightly with my pliers to make sure that they would stay secure when I pushed the element into place. With the new element securely attached, I slowly slid the element into place, this forces the exposed wires to be retracted out of sight and in the insulated part of the oven. I then took the two screws that I had to removed in the beginning, and used them to fasten this new heating element to the back of the oven. Finally, I turned the power back on and the element worked fine.
Only had to lift out the old cartridge and put in the new one. It was really easy.

Defective burner cartridges
Sales Staff very helpful in selecting item. They said they would ship that day and arrive within 2 to 3 days. The next morning they were delivered by Fed Ex Ground. Opened the box removed the units and installed them in the stove. Will order from this company again because of the fast efficient service and staff

One of the coil elements had burned through, and the bottom of the cartridge pan had rusted.
I unplugged the old cartridge and plugged in the new one.

We Needed the second set of stovetop burners
This is fantastic. We've had this Jenn-Air range for some time now, but we only used the two-burner module on one side and the indoor grill on the other. Less than a week before Thanksgiving we decided that the extra two burners would be very useful, so I set out to search the internet for a good deal and the possibility of getting it before needed. Then I found your website and within minutes theunit was on the way and, at the most reasonalable price available. I recieved the unit he next day. Hello Jeff, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the only color the manufacturer makes these cartridges in is white and black now. Stainless has been discontinued.

Need electric coil cartridge. confused as some described as having 5 spades, 4 flat 1 round and some having 4 spades, 3 flat 1 round. My defunct unit has 3 spades 1 round (2 flat on one side of round spade and 1 flat on other side BUT there is an EMPTY flat space next to it on unit. The cooktop receptacle has room for 5 spades - 2 flat on either side of round. Do I need the 4 or the 5 spade? since the 4th flat receptacle on stove has remained unfilled??

Will this burners keep a constant heat? For example a gas burner keeps a constant heat and allows my pressure cooker to do its job. The burners with the glass covers seem to have a thermostat and turn and on off to maintain a the same temperature but this is not good for using the pressure cook. Does the electrical burner stay on all the time when its turned on. Hope this makes since.
