my door stays locked and washer currently works but when i open the door, i hear a slight buzzing sound, when i press the little button that is part of this switch to simulate the door being closed, the noise goes away, does that mean this part is going out on me?

Hello Arthur, thank you for getting in touch. If you hear a buzzing sound when the door is open and it stops when you press the button that simulates the door being closed, it could indicate an issue with the door lock switch, part number PS4205052. The buzzing might be a sign that the switch is not functioning properly or is beginning to fail. It might be worth inspecting the switch for any visible signs of wear or damage and considering replacing it if the issue persists. We hope this helps.

I replaced the door lock switch and the machine stills makes the slight buzzing sound when the door is open. Pressing the button on the switch with the door open makes it stop, releasing has it come back on again. since it was not the switch, now where to look to? Machine runs fine for now as it, just the buzzing sound which is not very loud when the door is open.

Hi Arthur,
Thank you for your question. If the noise stops when you press a button on the door lock switch assembly, check the wiring connections to the switch. You may also have a defective switch and it will need to be replaced. We would also recommend checking the pump and water inlet valve. We hope this helps!
