The gasket install required that I insert the proper side into the tub's gasket slot surrounding the tub. I did that but it just kept coming off no matter how hard I tried to wedge the rubber into the slot. I was like the rubber was too narrow to wedge in. I stopped by an appliance store and looked at the same model and found the rubber gasket in the new unit to be firmly installed and would not pull out of the slot. Very disappointing and may now have to place a service call for something that I thought was simple.
