The bracket that holds together the upper control panel and the front panel of the door is broken. When i close the door i need to push in the top control panel in order to get the control panel to light up so that i can start the dishwasher. What parts do i need to replace?

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you will need to replace your control bracket. I have listed the correct part for your model down below. You may also have to take a look at your touch pad control panel as well. You may have to replace that if it is broken too. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I removed the screws for the door and lifted out the control panel. Should the control panel just be loose and just come out or should it be snapped into place on the metal frame of the exterior part of the door?

My door does not go all way down it lifts up a bit so we manually have to push door down to pull lower tray out. I don’t see any springs on the door .is there a part that would allow the door to be pushed down when loading & not releasing up?

If you let the door half way down and let it go it just falls.
