When my washer is in agitation cycle it make a load squeezing noise coming from this part
For model number W10006482
Hello Brian and thanks for writing.
It is possible that the rotor is faulty. There could be other parts causing this. We would be happy to do some research to find you the correct parts. However, we need your model number and the brand name to locate any information on this. Model numbers can be short or long and could have a mixture of numbers and letters. We do carry related parts for units just like yours. For example, part number PS11746840 Good luck with your repair.
Hello, So recently I changed the slider and the rotor to washing machine. The issue I am dealing with now is that water does not come out when attempting to wash clothes. I also watched a video which states that when diagnostic mode, I should test spin speed. When testing it the agitator moves but the basket does not. Is the basket suppose to move? if so what may I have done wrong? Thank you!
For model number MVWB766FW0
Hi Cathy, thank you for reaching out. In a washing machine, the basket should move during the spin cycle. The agitator's movement is normal, but if the basket itself is not moving, it could indicate a problem. After replacing the slider and rotor, it is possible that something was not installed correctly, which is preventing the basket from moving. There might be something blocking the basket's movement, such as a foreign object or a misaligned part. You may need to re-install them to fix the issue. We hope this information helps!

The machine makes a whinin noise when first filling, and also when agitating,, although not all the time after tub is filled. I thought it was a belt, but this model doesn't look like it has a belt.... any idea's?
For model number MVWB865GC0
Hi Torrin, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, we would recommend checking the water inlet valve, part number PS12348013. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Just wondering if you can tell me if it would be the rotor or seal and bearing gone on my washing machine ? My washer seems to be getting louder and I have noticed black splashes underneath it.
Thanks
For model number MVWB865GC0
Hello Trina, thank you for your question. The bearing is only available as part of the gearcase PS12741641. You may also want to check the impact absorbers as well, part# PS11746560. The black splashes may be rusted water. Good luck with your repair.
My washing machine makes a very loud noise when it is spinning? I keep looking just not sure where to start
For model number MVWB835DC3
Hello Joy, thank you for your inquiry. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the transmission, part number PS12741641, to solve the problem. Glad to be of help!
When I put my washer machine in deep water cycle, the machine fills up but when it starts to wash and agitate it immediately ends the cycle and drains the water. I tried washing a load on normal cycle and the washer made noises while agitating and after a few minutes had a burnt rubber smell. Thought there may be a belt issue but don’t see any belts underneath this model.
For model number MVWB835DW4
Hello Kyle, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding, you are facing two different issues. The problem regarding the washer immediately ending the cycle and draining the water is associated with a malfunctioning control board. We would recommend checking the control board, part number PS12745279, to resolve it. For the issue regarding the burning smell, we would recommend checking the stator, part number PS11769960. The stator is part of a direct drive motor that electrically drives the outer rotor. If the stator coils become wet or the coated wires on the coils short out, they can produce a burning smell. Glad to be of help!
I replaced the slider washing machine still making a clicking sound when agitating.do i need a rotor or what else? Thank mike
For model number MVWB835DW3
Hello Mike, thank you for getting in touch. Check the lid switch and lock assembly, part number PS11722981, if faulty, it can prevent the machine from spinning or agitating properly. It can cause a clicking sound. Check the actuator, part number PS10064562. It shifts the washer between wash and spin modes. It could be malfunctioning, causing the clicking. We hope this helps.
My washer is making a clicking sound during start up while in sense mode it sounds like gears skipping I took the rotor off and it looks like the top of the teeth are smeared off does this sound like the problem and is it a common problem
For model number Mvwb835dw4
Hello Kevin, thank you for your question. Our research indicates that it would be prudent to replace both the Rotor PS11769961 as well as the Stator PS11769960 as they work in conjunction with each other. We hope this helps.
Hello James, thank you for your question! Your first step is to remove the hoses from the water inlet valve. Be prepared for some water to spill out. Make sure the drain hose is detached from the standpipe or laundry tub. Next, use tape to secure the washer lid. Now, carefully tip the washer forward so its front rests on a towel or carpet. Use an allen wrench to fully loosen the rotor mounting screw, then pull the old rotor off. Be aware this may require some effort to install the new rotor. By carefully sliding it onto the tub shaft fully tighten the mounting screw. Now carefully lift the washer to its upright position, remove the tapes securing the lid and attach the drain hose to the standpipe or laundry tub. Reattach the hoses to the inlet valve, turn the water supply back on and plug the appliance back in to make sure it is functioning properly. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!
