When the filter was removed the housing leaked.
I would suggest loosening the supply lines attached inside the rear. This will give you plenty of slack to disconnect the lines from the housing.
I pulled off the grill. I removed the bolts that hold the housing on. I then removed the plastic clips off the water lines. I put pressure on the quick connects and pulled the hoses out and removed the housing. I snapped the lines on re installed the housing and bolts and put the grill back on. I had already turned the water off to the fridge so I turned it back on. Its fixed

Does part # ps11731636 fit refrigerator with seriel # hr34404781? I ordered this part, but it is the incorrect color and i am not sure that it will fit. (i can live with the color, if the part will fit and work. Also which water filter matches this filter housing?

My refrigerator will not make ice or dispense water from the door unless I remove the water filter. I have changed the water filter and it does the same thing. Could this be a water filter housing problem?
