Original lint filter too warped to be used
I took out the old filter, put it into the recycle bin and dropped in the new filter. I was done.

This looks like the original but the model number is different. Will it fit the above number?

Can a cracked lint screen prevent dryer from starting?
Power is available but when I push start button there is a brief clicking noise and the check lint screen button lights up. The drum will not tumble.

If the lint filter is broken, lint and debris are trapped inside the dryer and venting, causing the dryer to stop. We recommend replacing the lint filter, part number PS11731421, and checking the door switch, part number PS11773181. If the lint indication does not go, you may need to check the electronic control board, part number PS11722916. We hope this solves your problem!
