Dryer has a steam function. It developed a water leak from the bottom. The water Hose connection is dry and secure. All filters and exhaust are clear. When water is shut off leak stopped.

Thank you for your question. If water is leaking from the bottom of your dryer, your dryer may not be able to vent the warm air outside. Check the vent and if it is clogged with lint, clean it. This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
Had to remove the back of unit to access the area of subject part by removeing 12 to 14 screws also the gas line had to be removed. Two screws held the part in place. Unit now runs normal.Saved alot on repair costs!!!!!
