Circulation Pump Specifications
Are you frustrated with water pooling in your LG dishwasher? You need the LG Dishwasher Casing Assembly Drain Pump. It's a genuine LG replacement part, specifically crafted for certain models of LG dishwashers. Here's why this part is important: during the drain phase of your dishwasher cycle, this motor-powered drain pump is what whisks away water from the tub, ensuring a clean, dry, and spotless dishwashing result. Installation? It's simple, but for sake of safety, always remember to unplug the dishwasher and switch off the water supply before you start. Wearing work gloves is a good idea to protect your hands. This isn't just a regular spare part. It's a lifeline for the efficiency of your dishwasher, key to keeping it running smoothly like it's brand new. Be aware though, it does look like other parts. So it's essential to double-check it fits your specific LG model before making the purchase to avoid the disappointment of incompatibility. Not just a smart move, it's the right one for your sparkling dishes.

Leak coming from pump/motor assembly
Ordered complete M030 Casing Assembly (RepairClinic Item # 4116143) after cleaning and testing rubber seal and pump assembly. Worked for two washes, then leak came back. To replace complete assembly, remove dishwasher from under sink, tip on back, disconnect all electrical and connectors to Case Assembly. Next, remove heater assemble (single nut) - this requires upward pulling to release the rubber washer and unit. Once removed unscrew the case assembly (four screws). That's it. Reverse the order to install.

Contacted earlier today and my husband took a look at the inlet valves and it looks like we will need to replace one of those, but we also had whistling during the wash cycle. What part could possibly be causing that problem? Thank you, Angela
For model number LDF7774BB
Hi Angela,
Thank you for your question. If you are hearing a whistling noise during the wash cycle, this could be a part of the normal operation of the washer or there may be some type of issue in the washer. If your washer is fairly new, you may hear some whistling sounds as the parts are being used for the first time. This is normal and will disappear after washing a couple loads of clothes. If it continues, then something else is causing it. If a piece of metal from a belt buckle or a bra, for example, goes into one of the holes in the tub or if these items scrape against the tub, this may cause a whistling sound. Also, over time, the grease that allows the spin bearing to operate quietly, gets washed away by the water and detergent that pass through the washing machine. The result is a whistling noise when the wash basin spins. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

So it looks like my drain pump just died. Standing water in the bottom and a 0E code. However, it’s been making a lot of noise for a while: I was assuming it might be the circulation pump, but now the drain pump has died. Would the drain pump possibly have been generating constant noise during operation?
Just trying to figure out if I need to replace one part or two.
For model number LDF8072ST
