Shut off water supply. filter is located in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator on the inside. open the drop-down door. by hand pull the filter downward. then twist it to the left one quarter turn. it should pull out. Light Switch Was Faulty--Failed A Few Months After Purchase Of The Refrigerator
I had several times tried to get the old switch out but with no success. Ordered the "repair kit" and followed directions for removing old switch (there is a plastic spring clip on one side). Easy to unplug the old switch, plug the leads into the new one, snap the new one into place. Took about 5 minutes total--piece of cake. I wish I'd thought to try this years ago when the old switch began to fail.

the tab that mounts the self opening lid to the pull out drawer broke off
After months of glueing and re-glueing the piece back together, I searched online using the product numbers on the back of the part. I found this website instantly and the replacement part. When I ordered the part I was concerned that it would not fit but it fit perfectly and the repair cost $20. I had a great experience with this site and will use it again.

The change water filter light came on.
I turned the water supply off and installed the new filter, which was easy. the hard part was finding the water filter at my local home improvement stores; they don't carry it. In the future I will use only Part Select.
