79046353401 Kenmore Wall Oven - Instructions

After turning off the power to the unit, we took it out of the countertop and unscrewed the base of the unit. We then unplugged the damaged coil and plugged in the replacement part. We then screwed the base of the unit back on and replaced the unit in the countertop. The largest burner now works.

Very simple, just removed three screws and pulled the top out and turned over and then removed the two screws holding the support bar. Removed and installed the element.Surprised to see that the element burned out in such a short time.

Gasket has pins that line up with tiny holes around the perimeter of door. Just pull the old gasket off, and snap new one ( with pins) in . Used the butter knife to push ends of gasket in hole at bottom of door. Took about 2 minutes to complete and looks AWESOME! simple. simple, simple! This company ships immediately and the product is described properly. I would buy from this company again!

Easy to put in but i droped a screw to hold the element. had to pull another screw to fix it

Trun off power, remove other knobs gain access to panel remove rubber connectors, which gave me access to switch. Study connections install new switch put panel back together,turn power back on run a series of test, all went well.

1. Moved stove from against the wall. 2. Unplugged the power supply. 3. Removed the electrical pannel cover. 4. Disconnected the quick connect probe plug. 5. Opened the oven and removed the probe. 6. Installed the new probe. 7. Connected the quick connect plug. 8. Reattached the electrical panel cover. 9. Plugged in the electrical supply. 10. Moved the stove back into its original position. ****Note**** THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I REPLACED THE PROBE. THE FIRST REPLACEMENT LASTED ONLY 5 MONTHS!!!!

simple, removed a few screw's, unplugged old burner, plugged in the new one. that was basically it. easy!

Started with three screws on outer edge of door, which separated inner and outer door parts exposing the first set of screws on first piece of glass. There are four panes including inner and outer with two between. Keep track of the screws, be careful removing and replacing glass panes (i put mat down to rest glass on)and with nothing more than a screwdriver and windex to remove fingerprints etc from replaced glass, it was a breeze. Figured out that light and door switch started the convection fan on when door is closed. Found the switch defective. Found exploded view online of switch in oven. Had to figure out that the range top needed to be removed to access the switch from inside the top part of oven. Unscrewed at least (6) screws to free up the range top. Squeezed the inside switch clips to allow switch to be pulled out from outside of oven. Disconnected electrical receptacle and plugged into new switch. Pushed in new switch til it snapped into place. Reinstalled range top.

The repair went relatively easy. I even cleaned all the layers of parts when they were removed from the glass panel. I have to thank the excellent customer service and super fast delivery. Overall a quite easy task and $$ saving as well!

In order to service the switches on this model, remove all four knobs for the switches. This will expose the plastic nuts which hold the fascia panel secure. Remove those nuts and the fascia panel. Next use a phillips screwdriver to unsecure the steel panel which secures all four burner switches. Remove the faulty switch, taking note of each color lead and terminal designation. Replace in reverse order.

Turn off the breaker! Remove the switch knobs. Using a Phillips screwdriver remove the two screws on the affected switch. With a large tip Phillips remove the three screws at the edge of each end of the panel and place it bottom side up on the stove top. Look at the bottom of the switch. Compare those numbers with the numbers on the new switch. Remove the wires one at a time and place them on the corresponding numbered terminal on the new switch. Be sure to put the mounting plate on the stem. Place the new switch in the cover plate and insert screws. Put cover over switches and insert the three screws on each side. Turn breaker on and turn burner switch on. Success!

Moved the stove away from the wall, unhooked the electric cord and the gas pipe. In the oven, undid the two screws holding the probe. Removed two screws and removed the electrical cover panel from the stove back, disconnected the quick connect to the probe and pulled the probe from the oven. Reversding the proceedures, put the new probe into the oven, hooked up the quick connect and replaced the electrical panel cover. From the front, reinstalled the probe with the two screws, reconnected the gas and the power cord and put the stove back into position. It works just fine now!

After removing pots / pans in cabinet below cook top and turning off the power, I was able to remove the panel held by 2 screws. Pulling the old light out was just a little difficult as it came in pieces. New one popped right in, hooked up terminals, replaced the panel and that was it !!
