Ordering the part was very easy. It shipped fast and delivered over 3 days. It fit perfectly

I simply removed the melted spray arm, then set the new spray arm in place, twisted the built-in securing nut (clockwise to its stop), and it worked without any problems.

Snapped the new stops on. It took about 2 minutes.

You only need to pull it out about 6 to 8 inches and you don’t need to disconnect anything to slide it on

Looked on you-tube and it was so easy. Pump on bottom right. unplug pump and do a halfway turn. Plug the new one up and place the pump on, and turn halfway and its on. START your dishwasher

I just recently purchased a new house and quickly became frustrated with the dishwasher. The top rack kept falling and interfering with the cycle and loading/unloading was an annoying pain! I investigated purchasisng a new dishwasher even though it wasn't in my budget. I decided to investigate fixing it myself. I was surprised the part was so easy to find and identify on the site. I was elated! It arrived quickly and the dishwasher was fixed in a matter of minutes. The part simply clicked into place! Instead of $500+ for a new appliance, I was saved by a $40 part (with S/H)! just pulled old gasket out. New gasket took 2 attempts to fit in properly, but simple to do. Very easy to press into groove. Fit like a glove! Website drawings made choosing part very easy, thanks

thought it could be due to the overfill control switch,so ordered one and replaced one in the washer. However, it did not solve the problem. Having a repair company coming to look at the dishwasher. Tipped the washer on its back and switch was readily accessable. Only had to open plastic covering over the switch, disconnect the wires and install new switch and reconnect the wires.

Pulled dishwasher out from under the counter, removed faulty seal, installed new seal. Easy to understand directions are on web site.

Easy to do. Less than fifteen minutes total and only tool required was a screw driver. Simply pulled out the old gasket by hand and then pressed in the new one with the screw driver. Anyone could do this.

Also replaced stop ends for top rack by removing old clip in to push down and lined up to secure in slots at end of rack, notice new plastic parts are installed by pushing hardware into slots downward until they clip into place

It was very simple to remove the old wheel and replace with the new one. Everything snapped out of and into place so no tools were needed and it only took about 3 minutes to complete.

Followed the easy how-to video from PS. It was as easy as changing a light bulb.

I followed the directions on the PartSelect Youtube video - very helpful! I do believe the heating element was the original culprit, as it had a "burn" area about the size of a dime that caused it to almost break into two parts. Obviously a point of failure.

BUT - after replacement, it still did not solve the problem of the dishes not drying.

After much web searching, I tried the diagnostic mode on the dishwasher, and that did a hard reset of the logic board and FIXED the problem.

So in all, it required both a new heating element AND a hard reset via diagnostic mode.

All I had to do is lay the shield over the top and sides and used a couple of clips to hold in place as it was slid under the counter top. It couldn’t have been easier.We had searched everywhere for this replacement shield and parts select was the the only ones that had it. Very good service and fast delivery,
