Light Would Not Come On.

I removed the four bolts holding the light switch and temp knob with a nut driver, unplugged the unit and moved it to the table top. I removed the switch and replaced it with a new one. I plugged the unit back in and drove the four screws in with a nut driver and the light now comes on when I open the door. Real simple!

Door shelf retainer bar broke from to much pressure on it over the years

Simply popped out the old one and popped in the new one.

broken door shelf bracket

the bottom door shelf bracket had broken in half, i unsnapped the two halves, i ordered the replacment part from part select which had sent the part within the time frame they promised and just snapped the bracket back in place. the whole process took less then two minutes.

Broken Door Shelf Retainer Bar

Popped the new retainer bar into place. Put the jars back where they belong. No worries! Couldn't have been less trouble.

The Only Problem Was That The Part I Ordered Could Only Be Used On The Top And Second Shelf

The shelf was out too far to be used on the bottom shelf. The top shelf, which was not as deep was then moved to the bottom and it worked fine. I am wondering if the shelf that was not as deep as the part I received is available. Thank you - maxine

Refrigerator door sagged, had to push the door to close it.

Used wood blocks to raise the door off the lower hinge bracket then unscrewed the suspect hinge. Cut a small shim, two layers of soda can, to place under the lower edge of the new hinge bracket and doubled the washers by using the old one to ensure I had adequate clearance for the door. After a little silicone lube I installed the new hinge bracket. All better now.

crisper frame broken

Once I got over the fear of dropping it and breaking the glass the rest was really simple.

Original plastic hinge cracked across the middle

Removed 2 hex screws & old hinge, placed new hinge on cabinet & found that it didn't fit; one hole was about 1/8" off. Had to drill a new hole in cabinet top in order to attach new hinge. Hinge works fine now. I'm glad to find the hinge is metal; original one was plastic.
