Removed two clips on back panel holding control panel.Removed end plates on control panel. removed two front screws holding control panel. removed wiring harnesses noting location. Set control panel aside. Removed two large clips holding rear panel to washer cabinet. Pulled washer cabinet from the front away from the rear panel and tube. Removed two screws holding water inlet valve. Removed water inlet hose from inlet valve using channel lock pliers. Installed new water inlet valve using supplied mounting bracket. Reassembled washer in reverse order.

I got a few hints from YouTube (how to remove the washing machine casing) and rest was very simple

After reading everyone elses stories, I purchased all new springs(5), new spring brackets(one of mine was rusted really badly)and all new wear pads(two sets of 3pcs each). The rusted spring bracket was the most time consuming as the screw was rusted into the bracked so I had to drill it out. Other than that, the actual spring replacement was easy. Took maybe 10 minutes. The wear pads were another story. I'm a pretty good mechanic and I had a bit of a struggle getting the old pads out. I used a long, flat head screwdriver to pry them out. Once they were out the new ones weren't too tough to get back in. Took about 20 minutes all together. I stongly recommend watching the video on removing the washer cabinet first. It will save you some time. Acutally, watch the videos on all of the parts to simplify the process. Oh and by the way, all of my washer problems are gone. Well worth my time and $70 in parts. first of all, the parts i ordered arrived THE NEXT DAY, which is fantastic. and all for under a hundred bucks. secondly, the parts came with excellently detailed instructions that included photos, so the repair itself was pretty easy. i opened up the washer, disconnected 2 hoses, slid the entire tub/motor assembly out as directed, loosened the nuts holding the old suspension springs in place, removed the old tub spring, lifted the tub off the old suspension springs, removed and replaced the springs with new ones, and put everything back together again. tub is tight, spin cycle is nearly silent...it's like a new machine. the only reason the repair took as long as it did was because i took the opportunity to clean everything out in there--about a decade worth of grime and dust. cleaned the hoses, cleaned up the tub, cleaned under everything. this is my second repair with partselect (the dryer half of my machine went bad last month), and the second time the repair has gone flawlessly. i couldn't be happier.

the tube when spinning the tub would shake so bad the washer would walk away from the wall but it will not happen anymore since I put the new spring on it runs great and this is not my first rodeo. Removed the outer part to timer controls then removed two screws then shell in front came off the body

Replaced hinge switch. Still no spin cycle. Noticed hinge bearing cracked & if hinge forced into switch, spin activated. Ordered new hinge bearings.Spin cycle still didn't engage. On further examination, observed that hinge was bent. Straightened hinge & worked like a charm. Didn't really need new switch or bearings. NOTE : Avoid having washer door bang shut.Took longer than expected, but each procedure was simple.

The only thing I had to do was hammer the catch inside the square fitting and presto it was done. It took me less than 3 mins. I thought I might of needed instructions, but it was really simple. Even a guy can do it. (smile)

Turn off water, unplug machine
Disconnect water lines to the valve
Unscrewed the clear plastic tabs on the top of the machine, then pryed the back away from the top white part.
Two gold clips can be popped out with a long flat head screw driver.
Pulled the back away from the machine enough to disconnect the wires from the valve. Unscrew the screw(s) from the valves.
Old valves out, new valves in. Plug in the wires, screw in the screws.
Then, to get the gold tabs back in place.....i called NASA.

I slipped one into the back and held it in place with my thumb. Then I lined the piece up with the slot inside the machine. Then, i pryed the top white part away as I pushed them together. Stuck a long handle screwdriver down in and pushed REALLY hard on the gold tab to get it to snap into place. Everything is really tight, so you might have to try it a few times.....i left some blood behind.
repeat for the other side, snap in the clear tabs, hook up the water lines, plugged it in......
Then I sat back and listened to my wife praise me for fixing her machine!

I take the screws out of the door, I removed the catch from behind inside the dryer door, I slid the new catch in the door and snapped it in place. After getting a new catch in the door I put the door back together and put the screws in. Easy repair

1- Remove power connection, remove water connections. 2- Remove the top controller box and free it from its hinges. 3- Loosen the back cover to get access to water valve assembly. 4- Remove hose clamp connected to inlet water valve. 5- Remove the old water valve which is secured with 1/4" screw. 5- For installation perform step 5 to 1 and then test your Installation.

Incredibly simple! You just pop the other plastic catch out with a butter knife and pop the other on in. This is the second time I have done this over the last 4 years or so.
