I have two drawers, both had the long shelf stud broken
I followed the video instructions, which were wonderful! Thank you for that. I removed the shelves, then turned each stud counterclockwise a quarter of a turn and worked them out. I would have been able to finish in 15 min. Or less, but one of the studs crumbled, leaving only the wire; so I grabbed the wire with the pliers and was able to work the old stud out after several minutes. I placed the new studs into the holes and turned them clockwise until they snapped in place. What a quick and easy fix!

non functioning light switch in fridge
This repair was super easy. there are only 5 screws to remove to get at the defective switch. 3 in the housing where the light bulbs are and 2 in the front trim piece where the cooling adjustment dials are. I never did unplug the fridge ,but probably should have although nothing bad happened. I removed all 5 screws using a 1/4" socket ( a nutdriver would work well also). there is also a small dia rod that comes down from the coolness adj. wheel that when you re-assemble goes though the middle of the wheel. The switch has only 2 wires that clip on with the push on flat type connectors. Very simple. I removed the wires and then the switch can be removed( it is only held in by 2 squeezable side clips). I put the new switch in and connected the wires , checked to see that the lights went on and off. which they did. then just put the screws back in.....done. also I would like to say that when I ordered my switch it came super fast. I ordered it online at 11:00am on a tuesday and it was on my doorstep in wisconsin by 10:00 am the next day...Thanks

Refrigerator not cooling, compressor not kicking in when thermostat switch turned on and off.
Very simple repair. Followed the video instructions. Simply removed a few screws and nuthead screws. Removed the cover plates. Removed the old thermostat switch. Removed the plastics tubing over the temp sensor probe. Put the plastic tubing on the new sensor probe, ( rubbing a slight amount of vegetable oil on the probe to allow the tube to slide on easier,). Reinstalled the temp probe. Reinstalled the new switch. Connected the wires to the switch. Reinstalled the cover plates and screws. And the job was complete. Almost took me longer to write this out, than it did to complete the project. Hey, it was an easy fix.

The two shelf support studs (left and right) were both broken.
Using a pair of pliers position the nose perpendicular to the inner wall of the ref and grip tight on the flat part of the support stud and twist counterclockwise until it become loose. Once loosened pull the support stud outward until it clears the the hole. Installation: Slide the support stud in and twist it hand tight. Using a vise grip and locking the jaw just tight enough to hold it firm on the flat parallel edges twist them (one at time) clockwise until it feels tight the tongues are parallel to to be able to slide the shelf support.

Front support stud for crisper broke off
Grasped the base of the old part with pliers and turned a quarter turn until metal stays released and part could be pulled out (two online help videos: one says 1/4 turn clockwise, the other, 1/4 turn counter-clockwise, or, 1/4 in right direction, 3/4 in wrong direction). New part slipped in easily and snapped into place with 1/4 turn. Difficulty getting tray to seat fully until I whacked it with my open hand and it then snapped into place. Remains to be seen if it will be difficult now to remove.

Shelf Support Stud Replacement
The shelf support the refrigerator crisper container end had broken off. I found the part on the website and viewed the installation video. If I had not seen the video I would have had difficulty completing the job. Following the video instruction the old bracket that supports the shelft broke off. But, because I had been covered in the video how to remove the bracket enabled me to overcome the part breaking. Good set of instructions made the job go well even with the bracket breaking.
