Door Boot Seal Specifications
This door boot seal is designed to create a watertight barrier between the drum and door of front-load washing machines, helping prevent leaks and maintain efficient operation. Over time, the seal may become damaged due to wear, tearing, or mold buildup from constant exposure to moisture and infrequent cleaning. Common signs of a failing seal include water leakage, persistent odors, or visible mold. Replacing the gasket requires partial disassembly of the washer and tools such as a screwdriver, pliers, and a wrench. This seal is provided as a single replacement part and does not include clamps or

I received great assistance over the phone. They sent me the part which they believed would be a match for what I needed. The part came fast and intact. The video supplied by them for the repair was extremely helpful. When they say get the correct tools for the job...they mean it. After a bit of blood loss from my hand i was successful in fixing my washer!s
The part came quickly and undamaged so no waste of time sending it back etc. All in all, very satisfied!

Our washing machine is 5 years old and the rubber door boot seal developed mildew around the inside of the boot. Was time to replace. I believe part of the problem was there is and small drain hole in the bottom of the door boot that over the years clogged up with lint from the clothing. After boot
Parts ordered were exact fit. Will use Part Select again for my washing machine and also dryer needs. See above on repair process. Thanks Jay.

Rubber door gasket had traces of mold due to door not being left open after use. Washer smelled bad also
Got new door gasket, watched several Youtube videos of repair process. Followed several combinations of the process, which were accurate and it went ok. Met with the described difficulty re-installing the boot due to the spring installation. The use of vise grips for the second spring was the best piece of advice, as the spring tool did not work for that specific process. Door did not want line up exactly the way it came off, causing some concern about the door lock, and possible leaking. After install, it seems to work ok on those accounts. Have only run large bulky items since, which cause many "OE" issues. have not tried a normal load yet, but I think it will be ok.
