My stackable washer dryer combo is 2 years old this month and the dryer has quit heating. I am trying to get an estimate on the cost to fix the dryer. I am guessing the heating element but I do not know for sure. My husband always took care of these things. Can you help?

Thanks for your question. You will want to test a few different parts with a multimeter to see if they have electrical continuity. Replace these parts if they do not show continuity. Check the thermal limiter, control thermistor, and the high limit thermostat. If those are all testing well, consider replacing the terminal block.

My machine model number is GCET1041AS2 which I cannot find. After some inspection I would need to replace the heating element as well as the belt, however I am unsure what parts are that since, as I mentioned, my model is not very easy to find.
