I picked up a used microwave that came with the needed mounting plate but no screws
Based on my research, this over the range miscrowave should have come with 2 templates: 1 for the wall and 1 for the underside of the wall cabinet. The challenge was to measure every very aspect of that microwave in order to obtain placement specs for the mounting screws. Tip: I made the holes through the top cabinet bottom a little larger than needed and used big washers with then for stability to gain the most "play" in the self aligning screws. Worked out well. Took 2 tries to get the wall plate perfect so have precision in mounting that piece.

What size screws are in the mounting kit? To mount the top of the micro wave

Thank you for your question. There are 5 screws in total in the kit. 3 types of screws that come in this kit. Two of the screws are approximately 4 inches long.
