there is a lot of 'mold' around the washer rubber seal. Do I order a new one what can I do?
My daughter is allergic to mold.
For model number Electrolux 2020 model
Hello Judy, thank you for contacting us. Put the washing machine on the rinse cycle with hot water and bleach. The solution of hot water and bleach will kill some of the moulds that are building up. Mix a solution of bleach and water into a spray bottle. Apply the solution to the rubber seal so that it seeps into the crevices under the seal. Take a soft cloth and wipe the rubber seal down. Put the washing machine on the cleaning cycle with hot water, vinegar, or bleach a couple of times a month to prevent mould from growing. If things are really bad and the mould growth is out of control, replace the rubber seal, part number PS418992. We hope this information helps!

How to fix issue of a washer that water continue splashing at the top part while spinning?
For model number FWX833AS1
Hello Cherry, thank you for getting in touch. A blocked drain hose or pump can prevent water from draining properly, causing it to overflow and splash out. Inspect the drain hose for kinks or blockages. You can also check the drain pump filter for debris and clean it if necessary. The water level switch, part number PS975847, detects the water level in the tub. If it's malfunctioning, it may not shut off the water supply when it should, leading to overfilling and splashing. Make sure the washer and load are balanced. We hope this helps.
