Hello, I'm looking for the cam hinge for the freezer door not the one on the door itself but the one that goes on the bottom plate
For model number RSG257AARS
Hi Joe, Thank you for the question. The Lower Cam for the Freezer door is only sold as part of the Lower Hinge Assembly, PartSelect Number PS4173973. Good luck with the repair!

I hear a pop when i open the freezer door at the bottom hinge. Not seeing anything broken. Parts page shows part 6 as upper hinge closing cam - left (partselect number ps4156797), but one question ask about the lower hinge and answer say to replace the whole hinge, partselect number ps4173973. But he had a different model number. Wondering what i might need?
For model number RSG257AABP
Hello Randy, thank you for your question. Usually that pop is because the lower door cam, and hinge cam have worn. We would recommend replacing the hinge cam part number PartSelect Number PS4156797 as well as the lower hinge assembly PartSelect Number PS4173973, which includes the other plastic cam that works with the first part to open and close the door smoothly. I hope thishelps.
