PLUG & PLAY. No changes or modifications necessary.
FAULT - Compressor won't run. LED display normal, temp settings normal, cabinet temp rising. Main control board won't turn Compressor on, Failed internal circuit, Blown Capacitors on Main Control Board.
NOTE TO THE WISE:
Try not to touch new board with bare hands, handle only from the edges of board.Use nitrile or surgical gloves for proper protection of new circuits. Electronic circuit boards can be sensitive to static electricity & body oils from finger prints. Better safe than sorry.
UNPLUG REFRIGERATOR...... Remove sheet metal access panel on back of fridge, above condenser coil, to access control board. Take picture of existing wiring connections on control board for positive identification.
Unplug all wire harnesses from board, each one is different and are not interchangeable for easy reconnect. Disconnect single wire terminals from board noting locations. After all wires are disconnected, grasp edges of control board, gently twisting left to right, pull board away from 4 plastic mounting studs. If board does not easily pop off of studs, pinch the tip of studs with pliers to release lock mechanism & then try twist & pull again to remove board. Remove existing plastic mounting studs from fridge wall with pliers by twist & pry. Push & snap new plastic mounting studs into holes where old studs removed. Reconnect wire terminals & harnesses to board. Double check all connections, reviewing previous picture. Replace access panel. Plug fridge into outlet. Wait 2 minutes for new board to boot up. Need board is in Off mode upon start up.
Go into digital display and turn refrigerator On, then got to freezer & fridge temp settings and set your desired temps. Compressor starts and system runs to you new settings.
