Replacing Oven Control Panel
Disconnected electricity and using a Phillip Screwdriver I removed the panel in the back of electric range. I took a photo, pulled the wires off control panel, unscrewed 2 screws to loosen control panel. Replaced with new one, reconnected wires. I reconnected electricity to make sure it was working, then unplug it again after confirming and replaced metal panel behind range. Plug it back, set clock and ready to use. Very easy to do it yourself.

The oven kicks off shortly after preheat begins. Never gets hot
For model number WFE550S0HZ1
Hello Dwight, Thank you for writing. We suggest testing the Oven Sensor. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the Sensor is good, you may have a faulty Oven Control Board. We hope this helps!

Oven seemed to overheat frozen dinner by melting plastic & burning tray before cooking food. Error code F6E1 appeared. After shutting off I found no loose or burnt wires in panel. Put in test mode everything seemed to work. Is control board on the way out ?
For model number WFE550S0HV0
Hi George, thank you for the question. Based on our research, the F6 E1 error code indicates that there may be a problem with the appliance manager, or the associated wiring. We would suggest checking the wire harness first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the oven control board, part number PS16555205. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
