Ice Would Not Dispence
Took the ice storage bin out. Took the unit apart,and disamble the augar unit. Ordered parts from manufacture, which arrived in two days. As soon as I got the parts, I reassambled it. Work perfect. Good job!

My ice maker isn't dispensing or crushing ice. I reviewed some of the videos on this site and it seems to be related to the drive blade and/or the ice auger. The auger rotates freely through the blade. Is the blade stripped? The auger is tube shaped and smooth- how is the blade to stay in place? Thanks

Thank you for your question. If you physically see that your blades will not move when crushing/dispensing ice, then I would say yes that could be your problem. However it might be more along the lines of your Crushed/Cubed Ice Solenoid, part number: PS8691994. This part actually allows cubed or crushed ice to be dispensed on demand. You should be able to test this part with a multi-meter to see if it is malfunctioning or not.
