END CAP-MAGAZINE Specifications
This end cap is a vital component of the magazine assembly in compatible nailers and staplers, helping to securely contain nails or staples while guiding them smoothly into the firing mechanism. Designed for durability and flexibility, some versions—such as those from Siding Tips—are made from impact-resistant polyurethane, which offers excellent resilience against temperature fluctuations and jobsite wear. Replacing the end cap is a quick and straightforward process, typically requiring just a 3mm nail punch and a few minutes of your time. Whether you're performing routine maintenance or replacing a damaged part, this end cap ensures your tool continues to operate efficiently and reliably.

Broken magazine end cap prevents magazine from latching closed
1. Use belt clip on staple gun to hold in place on workbench.
2. Use a hammer with a punch or small screwdriver to hit the two pins holding the end cap to the magazine. Repeat ad nauseum with as much force as you can muster until both pins come out and the broken end cap can be removed.
3. Align new end cap on magazine and use same procedure to drive pins. Exercise caution with the shorter of the two pins. If not perfectly aligned, the plastic tabs on the end cap can easily break off.
