Repair has not been made yet still waiting for the part. The part is on order and was told it would be shipped in 1/3 business days. Still waiting for the part to come from China. This is the problem with parts being made out side the U. S. A.

Burner switch worked intermittently
Disconnect the power and the down draft duct. Lifted the unit up, supported by 2-2”x4” pieces of wood to access the screws. NOTE: this unit has a built in down draft. Remove the 10 screws holding the glass top on and set aside in a safe location. Loosen the 2 screws holding the switch, then remove the screws holding the switch housing in place. Remove the 2 switch screws then remove the 2 electrical connectors and the switch cover. Reverse the process and you are done.
Right front surface element temperature could not be controlled
Your technician suggested that the control knob unit was defective. I ordered the part and after watching your video, I was able to make the repair
