Inner glass door on oven was broken
Simply unscrew four small screws on the top aluminum cover plate ((two on top and two on the side of the plate) and the glass easily slides out and is replaced with the new glass. Once the glass is replaced, you simply screw the cover plate back on.

I turned on the oven self clean function and the inner glass cracked
Super easy repair! I slide the old glass out and was able to clean all 3 layers of glass which has been driving me crazy for years. To install the new glass required unscrewing and screwing in 2 screws. If I had waited for a repair person, it would have been one month. Instead the new glass came in a couple days and the repair took 15 mins (cleaning took longer, haha). I highly recommend doing this repair yourself.

Hello, i ordered the w10335920 glass to replace on my oven. Can you tell me if when installing, do you have the matte painted edge facing inwards towards the oven (the matte painted side of glass would be in contact with the oven frame when closed / unpainted glass hidden inside the door), or outward to where it would be facing the inner portion of the door itself? (hopefully that makes sense!)

Hello Robin, thank you for your question. The inner most piece of glass on the oven door is part number FRAME-GLAS Part Number: PS11753108. To do this repair, you will remove the four screws from the top of the door that holds the glass. Two of the four are at the inner part of the front of the door and remaining two are on either side. Once that panel is removed you place the small 4 brackets on each hole, pop the glass in then put the holder back in place then reinstall all four screws. When the glass is removed the oven door will want to close because of the weight of the glass being removed. To help keep the door steady flip up the hinge latches as though you were going to remove the door. This keeps the door open far enough to install the new glass with no assistance. I hope this helps!
