Oven wouldn't sensor reheat & error code on display
I looked at the exploded pic on your web site to find the location of the sensor. Next I removed the cover by unscrewing 15 screws then swaped the sensor and re assembled! Works great! Fixing it my self I saved at least 150$ and did not have to wait all day for a repair man who probaly would not have the part on the first visit.

My microwave looks & performs like nothing is wrong with it except for the fact that it will not heat anything. It did display "sensor error" once. Do i need a sensor kit or a fuse?? how do i test it to find out what exactly i need to order? i really hate to throw away an expensive microwave that is only a few years old!! sad cause i always bought cheap ones in the past that actually lasted several years but with our kids gone we decided to buy something that we thought would outlast us but unfortunately we are having issues already!!

Hello Kerry, thank you for your question. The most likely issue is the fuse, Line Fuse
Part Number: WB27X10388. In most cases you can look at the fuse and see its blown. It will be black inside. The other part that could be the issue is the Diode Part Number: WB27X10597. You can also test the door switches before ordering to make sure there is not an issue with those parts. This link will take you to information on testing the door switches.

What are the steps to replace a line fuse
For model number PVM1790DR1WW
Hi Duane, Thank you for your inquiry. The fuse PartSelect Number PS239525 is located under the plastic grill at the top of the microwave. It's held on by two screws. Once you've removed the screws and taken off the plastic grill, you go to the right side of the microwave and remove another screw that holds a small metal grill in place. Removing the small metal grill is probably the toughest part of this repair. You kind of have to rock it back and forth a bit to get it to release. Once that's off, you can get to the fuse. Before you start this repair, ensure that the microwave is unplugged, and the capacitor is discharged. A capacitor stores large amounts of electricity even after your microwave is unplugged.
