I took the pin and i slide it through the first hole attached the spring then sldie it through the second hole and snap the cover on

Came home and my husband had it all done. He said it was simple and it looks bran new again. Very satisfied.

Remove completely the old one and installed the new entire kit.

Opened the door by using a star screwdriver. Pulled the door inside from the outside. Located the broken spring, put in new one (be very carefull to see how the insides are put together..makes life ALOT easier), and carefully put back together.

You slide the pin that holds the door in the first hole. then you slide the spring in next. The you slide the pin through the last hole. After that you gently push the door onto the pin till it snaps into place. And your done.

Just removed the old one and installed the new one

I watched the video that you had on line and the repair was done in a snap. The shipping was fast also.

I paid a repairman over $100 to tell me he could find nothing wrong with my leaking dishwasher (it didn't leak when he ran it). I narrowed down the problem to a missing water deflector, but decided to replace the door gasket as well. It took less than 5 minutes to do the job. The only tool I used was a pair of needle-nose pliers to grasp the old door gasket and get it coming out of the groove. easy to remove the old gasket but did not solve the problem door leaks from the bottom and water remains on bottom of machine

Opened the door removed old seal and put the new one in. The only hard part was getting the new seal out of the package. It took about 1 minute to do. Very easy.

Replaced the heating element that I ordered from Part Select. The repair cost me less than $25.00 and took me less than 5 minutes. Watched your video and replaced seal in approx. 5 minutes, probably less. Still leaked so I looked at your page for solutions, found out where the air vent was and pried it open, very disgusting mess. With screw driver and long tweezers dug out what I could then poured a mixture of bleach and water in the vent. Totally cleaned it, very white, vent cover went into a bucket of bleach and hot water and it cleaned very well. Put vent cover back on and did a load of dishes, works fine. Thank you for having such a great website, if I ever need help again I will be back. It's a shame someone didn't tell you about cleaning the air vent when you bought the dishwasher.

Pulled out old gasket with needle nosed pliers, cleaned groove, installed new gasket just like the video provided on website. Took less than 10 minutes.

pulled out the old seal and put in the new, fixed the leak!
