WRF555SDFZ15 Whirlpool Refrigerator - Instructions

The repair was easy. chosing the right part required phone help. From the web photo of the part it is not knowable if the part includes the glass window. I had to call. Also I needed help if finding the correct part. But alls well that ends well. And the replacement was easy. Thanks for your interest in my experience.

Just popped out the old and popped in the new one.

Removed pantry lid,pantry drawer, shelf, two drawers. Unscrewed metal side rail. Removed right side end cap plus attached back rail. Had to figure out how to remove sliding drawer mechanism, not easy, all plastic, easily breakable-reattached that to new right side end cap. Put everything back (not easy-angle makes it hard). Reattached lid to new side end cap and all is well! My husband and I did this-for us it took two people.

Removed old lid and installed new lid - no tools required.

took out the old cover. then put in the new one! Easy as that. Thank you.

She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

Looked at the appliance's booklet to see how it fit together, then installed it.

Removed old gasket from right side of refrigerator and the bottom freezer doors. Reinstalled both gaskets to doors anbout 15 minutes in all.

Took out 2nd new filter $43.00 each that clogged in less than 2 weeks each and installed in 2 mins. this bypass and ice and waterr work perfect.Thank you, thank you for your exceptional service ordered part and it came next day without extra charge,great service.

Very easy to replace the old broken piece with the new one. Simple

We had an Appliance Repair service come to fix, and they replaced the ice maker and the water valve, but ice maker was still not performing properly. We use RO water to fill the ice maker and because the water was also going through the charcoal cartridge, there wasn't enough water pressure to completely fill the tray. Plus charcoal filter was probably clogged. The original Blue Bypass Cap was nowhere to be found and I even called Kitchenaid to get one. They were of no help. But found your site, and found the part I needed. And best of all, ice maker is not jamming and is now making real ice cubes, not hollow, thin ones. And the water dispenser is now working too, so am very happy that such a small thing, fixed the big problem. Who knows, a clogged charcoal filter may have been the whole problem from the start.

this part basically pops in and out on each end of pantry lid. Took about 30 seconds to replace it! I was amazed with the quick service I received from your company too! It was shipped the same day I placed the order and received it the very next day! Way to go!!

Replaced the water filter with the bypass plug. The water in western NC is perfect out of the faucet.
