PDW9800LW General Electric Dishwasher - Instructions

Repaired the soap dispenser.

The replacement dishwasher basket easily fit in my dishwasher. Easy to order. Quick delivery. Highly recommended.

This lower rack (GE part #WD28X25960) was ready to roll right into the dishwasher straight out of the box, no tools needed.

Pulled old spray arm off and snapped new one on. Less than 3 minutes and works great. Dishes are cleaner now.

Used Phillips screwdriver to undo brackets that keep dishwasher in place. Pulled out dishwasher from underneath the counter. Placed hinge arm in spring, hooked spring onto clip, placed hinge arm in clip. Put back dishwasher under the counter and screwed in place. Took all of 15 minutes. Saved 185.00 for service call.

Pull out the old, died gasket. Clean out track that holds gasket. insert new gasket.

Followed instructions on how-to video on website on how to remove and replace lower spray arm.

HAHA! The easiest repair we have ever done! Took it out of the box, snapped the old arm loose, put the new arm in and -- the dishwasher works like new! Thank you!

The repair is just a couple of minutes job. All I had to do was to pop the wheel axle in the new wheels, remove the old wheels and put the new ones in. The wheel axles on the original one, were like clasps. All one needs to do is to pull the clasp to one side and slide the wheel out. The new one, just needs to be pushed in. In my case, I could have just swapped out the axles, but decided to change the whole set anyway.

This was a simple part swap. The stud rollers are the small peg-clips that hold the wheel on the lower dish rack. Removing the old stud rollers from the wheels required a pair of pliers. I then popped the new stud rollers into the old wheels and snapped them back onto the lower dish rack. I scored some major points from my frustrated wife -- easy, fast fix!

Removed the existing stud rollers with the wheels attached. Then removed the wheels from the stud roller. Then snapped the wheels on the new "Better Designed" stud rollers. Then easily snapped the new stud roller assembly in place. Piece of cake...works like a charm.

Man, if you need help doing this repair, you shouldn't even own a dishwasher, much less a house. This was the easiest repair in the entire galaxy. First, I removed the old wheels, which was easy becasue they were always falling off by themselves. I then had to use pliers to squeeze the old studs to remove them from the wheels. All the wheels were still in good shape. Then I snapped the wheels onto the new studs, and snapped the studs onto the lower rack. And then, it was like I was in heaven. Bluebirds were singing, the sun was shining, my lower rack was sliding in and out and in and out like it was new. O happy day.

these appeared to be a newer design of wheels and wheel hubs that fit much better and seemed more stable. Very easy to replace and the bottom rack of our dishwasher works great now!

went to sears and was told axles not available ! after they sold my wife all 8 wheels in two diffrent colors. started looking on line found your web site I entered my model number. In a matter of minutes I found the parts checked stock ordered them and recived conformation.

It was sooo easy, I can't believe I took so long to get these new rollers and studs. Shipment arrived in 2 days, I removed those old melted wheels, through them away and installed the new ones, took me less than 10 minutes, it was painless, no tools needed. I did follow a tip from a buyer that was to attach the studs to the wheels prior attaching them to the lower rack and it was a very usefull tip. Do that! Now my dishwasher is like new again.
