PDW8900LW General Electric Dishwasher - Instructions

The repair was easy. Removed all the screws from the inside door panel, approx. 11. Watch out for that last screw as there isn't anything else holding the outside panel, inside panel and control panel together other than those screws. I then unplugged the old dispenser backed out another 6 screws and replaced the old dispenser with the new one. Put it all back together within about a half hour.

After removing the screws, the front of the dishwasher easily came off. I put 2 screws back in to hold the control panel in place. I did not want that to dangle while replacing the part. The part came off easily after removing the screws. Everything went together easy.

The repair was quite easy.
You simply take the new rollers and attach the pins to each of the rollers purchased. I gladly remove the old roller units. I placed each of the new rollers onto each pin of the lower rack unit, and snap them into place.
The rack rolls with ease now thankfully!

Easiest repair ever. My new rack arrived in three days, opened the box and slid it in. Better quality than the original. Excellent service!

No instructions. At first thought I needed instructions. A minute later I was attaching the new rollers. Simple and easy. Took less than 15 minutes. Would recommend these rollers.

Installed new roller which where larger than the original rollers. I believe these larger rollers will stop rack from slipping down near heating coils.
The new rollers snapped on with very litlle effort.

Purchased new $1400 dishwasher from sales floor for $699. Cosmetically perfect, but missing drain tube and clamp. Seemed like a good deal... and it was. Needed parts were $34. Install of this machine was a breeze, and it is suoer quiet...I need to get down on the floor and listen for water flow to know that it's working. Really.

Used teflon tape around new 3/8 elbow. Re-installed valve in originals postion. Connected supply hose and reconnected electrical to valve.

Removed the lower rack, removed all of the plastic wheels and axles, mounted the new wheels on the new axles and put them on the lower rack, reinstalled lower rack. Very easy and simple.

It was sooo easy, I can't believe I took so long to get these new rollers and studs. Shipment arrived in 2 days, I removed those old melted wheels, through them away and installed the new ones, took me less than 10 minutes, it was painless, no tools needed. I did follow a tip from a buyer that was to attach the studs to the wheels prior attaching them to the lower rack and it was a very usefull tip. Do that! Now my dishwasher is like new again. Removed the existing stud rollers with the wheels attached. Then removed the wheels from the stud roller. Then snapped the wheels on the new "Better Designed" stud rollers. Then easily snapped the new stud roller assembly in place. Piece of cake...works like a charm.
