Broken spring on flapper door

Unplugged the frig and removed two phillip screws on flapper door of left door... Unplugged the electrical connector and removed flapper...
Picked up new flapper and snapped electrical contractor together... Slid new flapper bar into place and inserted two phillip screws... Job complete in 15 minutes...

Spring in the plate front assembly broke. Door plate assembly would not move into correct position, preventing door from closing.

Door Stopper had snapped off

Unscrewed what remained from broken door stop, aligned new one, screwed it in. Done!

The spring on the mullion was broken so the mullion would not open to seal the other door.

I am a73 year old woman. If I can do this, anyone can. Super easy. Just watch the online video.

Took 2 screws out and disconnect wire and install new part.

cannot get water to the icemaker

i changed the filter and was able to get water to the white coil at the bottom of the dispenser (left door) but could never get water to the icemalker.i also replaced the pump at the bottom of the door as well as the green ebr699172 dispenser electrical board.still can not get water to the icemaker.any help will be greatly appreciated.

Poor road caused baskets on right door to damage right LG door.

The interior of the right door of LG Model LFXC22526S/08 side by side refrigerator with freezer drawer was damaged when we crossed an excavated concrete bridge span. The refrigerator is mounted in the rear of a 2022 Vanleigh Vilano. The contents of the baskets were violently lifted and dropped in to the baskets destroying the hangers that the plastic basket hung from and shatter the baskets as well. I lift the cover over the top right hinge, disconnected a 2 wire molex connector, loosened the bottom hinge bolts and the two screws at hinge right-side. The door was very light. I removed the hardware including the handle and door gasket from the damaged door and re-installed the gasket, handle and hardware (including the LG badges which I removed with a straight razor) and re-hung the replacement door in reverse order finishing with re-connecting the molex connector. I had no instructions, but the work was very straight forward. I like fixing things so this was very satisfying. And my wife was thrilled. Delivery was fast too!

replace hand screw

unfortunately my fridge stopped working. I purchased another but wanted to try and repair the old one. when ew one arrived, the old one was supposed to be put in garage but instead was hauled away. Had delivery return next day but they had as already removed and lost the handle screw for the bottom freezer and the screw that holds handle in place. ordered the handle screw and picked up the nut. very simple to install the screw and put handle back on.

Frost in the freezer. Icemaker frozen.

I called LG and followed the instructions given over the phone. The instructions couldn't have been simpler. Disconnect the appliance for several hours and then connect again. I disconnected the appliance overnight, cleaned out the freezer, and reconnected it. Problem solved. Did not need to call a repairman and did not use the clips.
