Switch stops working

Replace with new switch. this is the third switch i have replaced in 10 years. the only part, besides a light bulb, that has gone bad. obviously this is a problem with this model for Kenmore, or just poor switch design.

Previous glass shelf shattered into a million pieces while cleaning.

Old part did not seal properly

Read the reviews from other members and just did as they said. Needed a screw driver and the info from past persons review couldn’t have been easier.

INTERIOR DOOR ACTIVATED LIGHT SWITCH QUIT WORKING

1. Unplug the refrigerator (to avoid shock) 2. With one screwdriver pry open the switch on the side facing the door to a gap of about 1/8 inch 3. Insert a second screwdriver into the gap to press the plastic tab back slightly and this should release the part. 4. pull the part out and unplug it, you may have to pry back some small tabs on the sides, 5. Plug in the new switch 6. plug in the refrigerator the light should come on, if not tighten the connection 7. Insert new switch back into its slot, it should snap in place. Done!

Door Stopper had snapped off

Unscrewed what remained from broken door stop, aligned new one, screwed it in. Done!

The switch became intermittent - Possibly a poor designe

Used a small screw driver inserted into the front of the switch (facing the front) and pried until the switch was coming out. When out, I removed the connect harness and replace the switch with a new one.

Broken shelf for the vegatable bins

The glass was ordered correctly. The part was too big for mt refrigerator. I tried to send it back, but I got no reply. I tried cutting the glass to size and it shattered. I wasted 60.00 and im disgusted with your company.

Ice and water large paddle button stuck so would not turn off

Scary not hard. But pry panel out start at bottom or right side and pull. and was told from tube video that lg said if you break a few tabs that was normal and not to worry there is plenty. I think I broke one but after repair just pushed it back into place and it is good as new. The broken part was obvious and easy to replace. Just go for it

cannot get water to the icemaker

i changed the filter and was able to get water to the white coil at the bottom of the dispenser (left door) but could never get water to the icemalker.i also replaced the pump at the bottom of the door as well as the green ebr699172 dispenser electrical board.still can not get water to the icemaker.any help will be greatly appreciated.
