All power to the microwave went out.
PartSelect had helpful repair instructions on-line which made the repair easier and faster. Unfortunately, there were other problems with the oven that immediately blew the new fuse I had just installed. It was then determined that additional repair would most likely cost almost as much as a new microwave.

microwave just stopped working
First unplugged the microwave, took top grill off, took control panel off, took wires off and used color coded tape to make sure they went back in right places, took fuse out and replaced it and put every thing back and it all worked fine and to top it off my wife did it all. So it was pretty easy.

Door Interlock Switch Failed
Removed cover, diagnosed problem, ordered part from Parts Select, received part in 2 days, replaced part, tested and replaced oven into built in space.

Glass rotating tray cracked and broke when cooking
This is the tray the glass cooking tray rest on and rotates the glass during cooking. The metal tray was installed upside down. The rotating glass tray was not properly installed. The oven was at a very high temp. and the weight of the utensil on the glass was not supported correctly. Result, big " pop " and broken glass tray. Note this is the second glass repaced. The first one dropped while removing it from the oven. It stuck to the bottom of the cooking dish and then fell to the floor. Pop, big breakage. Maybe you can learn from my mistakes.

microwave won't heat

Easy Fix
To replace the broken latch (which rendered the microwave inoperable), I used a flat head screw driver to pry the plastic surround off of the inside of the microwave door. Then used the same screwdriver to pry off the metal inner apron--BE CAREFUL, when the metal apron pops off, the door glass will slip down. Latch itself easily popped into place. We took advantage of the repair to give micro a thorough cleaning--consider ordering filters when ordering parts to save on shipping. Repair was much easier than trying to locate an over-the-range micro to fit in same spot and latch itself was <$5.00.

Broken Glass Cooking Tray: need replacement part
Took item from sealed box and removed protective bubble wrap. Placed tray in microwave, aligning tray with turntable sprockets. Perfect fit, perfect match! And the part arrived in three days and was very competitively priced. What more is there to stay? Will use PartSelect for other replacement parts. No brainer!

Had preheated the convection/microwave oven to bake 2 frenchbread pizzas for 25 minutes. Placed aluminum tray on top of glass plate with pizzas. 20 minutes into baking the plate cracked in half. Why? Don't know. Never had before.
Unpacked glass plate from cardboard box and placed atop rotating spindle inside oven - done.
