Grill Vent
You have to open the microwave door. Then looking down at the top of the microwave you will see two Phillips head screws with washers. One on the left side and one on the right. Unscrew both screws and set them aside. Grill Vent will now lift easily off.

Replace with new grill vent, being careful to ensure the wire from the door to the main unit is fully tucked behind the grill vent. Take the screws and tighten. Be careful not to over tighten or you may break the plastic tab off of the grill vent.

I noticed that the hood lights were out.
I took off the glass panel underneath the microwave and replaced the 2 bulbs in less than 3 minutes by myself with only a phillips head screwdriver. I was very pleased with the service I received and more pleased with myself that I did not have to call in a repair man.

machine was dead.
After removing the over-the-range unit (no small feat!) I had to figure out how to open the case (good puzzle!). Capacitor had already discharged, so it was very easy to reach in, pop the old fuse and install the new one! As per your advice, I found out I was a "28%-er"! Upon re-installation, the microwave "sprang to life"!! Thanks, "Part Select"!! I was already shopping around for a new machine! (Now if you could only tell me an easier way to re-mount this heavy beast over the stove!!!)

Turntable did not work
Ordered a new motor. Removed the outside trim of the oven-microwave combo. 2 screws at the bottom of the trim. Removed the screws that held the combination micro and oven unit in place. Removed the top and bottom black plastic grill of the microwave. 3 screws each. Pulled the entire unit out about 1 inch exposing the screws at each side of the microwave that hold it in place.
Snapped off the top control panel which exposed the wiring connecting the control panel.
Unplugged a couple of wire harness units to free the control panel.
Be sure to label the units to know which goes where during reassembly.
Remove the microwave unit from the housing and place it on its side.
Remove the metal plate that houses the motor. 4 screws hold the motor in place. Disconnect the 2 wires from the old motor and you are ready to install the new motor. Be sure to TURN OFF THE POWER to the unit at the breaker box and remove the turntable from inside the microwave.

Mounting plate support edge broken
I removed the microwave to install a back splash and found the support edge on the backplate had broken off and was missing. I searched for parts for the microwave and found them on PartsSelect.com. Easy to order, and was shipped promptly.

Once the part arrived, install was simple, lining up the existing holes. The only hard part was setting the microwave up on the bracket due to the weight and awkwardness of the microwave.

Overall a very simple repair.

On Turning on the Microwave, it was sparking, was not sure where the sparks are coming from, initially I thought mica at the end of megnatron duct could be the issue
when I opened the back cover of microwave, the diode was kind of blackish blown, since there was light bulb and fan were still working, i thought it could be problem with any one of the components like; magnatron or capacitor or diode, so first replaced the diode and mica at the end of the magnatron duct, there was problem with door switch as well. i fixed that too. Now it is working. It cooks bit faster, Wondering why?

Charcoal Filter Replacement
This is an under the counter microwave. Simply removed the two screws holidng the vent grille on top of the unit, lift out the old charcoal filter, clean the vent fan exit surfaces then replace the filter and put the vent grille back. Be careful to not drop either of the two screws after one is installed as you will have to take the grill off and start the screw installation again unless you have a magnetic to retrieve the dropped screw. An easy five minutes at most to change.

I was sent the wrong fuse by you. I had to procure a fuse in another manner. Very disappointing. The repair was simple. It just took longer because of the failure to send the correct fuse.
