Both outside door handles turned very beige
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

Light Switch Was Faulty--Failed A Few Months After Purchase Of The Refrigerator
I had several times tried to get the old switch out but with no success. Ordered the "repair kit" and followed directions for removing old switch (there is a plastic spring clip on one side). Easy to unplug the old switch, plug the leads into the new one, snap the new one into place. Took about 5 minutes total--piece of cake. I wish I'd thought to try this years ago when the old switch began to fail.

the tab that mounts the self opening lid to the pull out drawer broke off
After months of glueing and re-glueing the piece back together, I searched online using the product numbers on the back of the part. I found this website instantly and the replacement part. When I ordered the part I was concerned that it would not fit but it fit perfectly and the repair cost $20. I had a great experience with this site and will use it again.

The change water filter light came on.
I turned the water supply off and installed the new filter, which was easy. the hard part was finding the water filter at my local home improvement stores; they don't carry it. In the future I will use only Part Select.

Light switch broken off by container in freezer
Pried out the old switch with small screwdriver, popped in the new one and tah-dah!! ..the light came on. While I was at it, I cleaned out the freezer :). I cannot begin to imagine what a repairman would have charged for this.

I had broken off the stud that fits into the "deli bin" lid and needed to replace the end cap
It was a breeze once I figured out how to remove the old part. Everything snaps together no tools required and I'm sure I saved myself a bundle by doing it myself.

Unplugged appliance. Using a small putty knife I moved the switch out far enough to grab it with pliers. Moved wiring to new switch and pushed into place after testing.
