Fresh Food Door Handle broke
The exchange was easy. BUT> Do not discard the three screws or the small patch that covers the one screw at the bottom of the handle. The new handle does not come with screws or that patch. The hardest part was getting the patch off the old handle.

The handle cracked and is breaking off.
I haven't changed out the handle yet as I am waiting for it to break off. But I watched the service man replace it a couple of years ago so know when the time comes it couldn't be hard adn it will save me the service call plus labor to have it put on. I am wonder if there is a problem and a recall on this handle as this is the 2nd or 3 rd. I have replaced in 9 1/2 years. never had a problem with a handle in 50+ years. Only have had 3 refigerators in all of those years. Know they don't make things like they used to .
