Ice maker door not opening
Removed panel from front of freezer door by pushing up on three spring loaded screws located in the opening where the ice door opens and closes. they are about 1 inch apart on the bottom of the opening. Push up to free ice maker panel. Remove three screws from solenoid, located at the top right. Remove wire, replace with new and that is it. Fixed the problem!! Our ice maker hadn't worked for months. Be careful if you remove the round ice maker door to clean. There is a spring that located on the left side of sprocket. The spring fell off and took me a while to figure where it came from. Recieved package in three days and the job took minutes. Works great! Very easy to complete.

Rusty water on refrigerator floor
turned out to be a rusty drain pan in the refrigerator section behind the fan fixture attached to the wall.I followed the instructions of a prior customer on the website and it worked like a charm. Super happy to have done it myself!! Can't believe they don't use plastic for this part as it would rust again if I didn't coat it with the rustproofing spray.

Groove for retainer clip on auger nut was broken out.
After removing three screws on the ice bucket, it basicly came apart by itself. I needed to use pliers to remove the old nut because it had over tightened itself onto the shaft. Be careful here - it is a left hand nut - not a normal right hand nut! Reassembly was a snap putting the parts back together in reverse order. Unit has been working great since the repair.

Light switch shorting out causing open door alarm to go off
Easy fix, but they don't give you plenty of wire to work with. When I pulled the switch out it only had about an inch of wire that came with it. meaning if I didn't have a grasp on the wires as I was removing the switch they would have slipped back up the opening

Ice tray drive cup broken
This is the second or third time this cup has broken. Maybe we use more crushed ice than the average family, but you would think this part could be more durable. Anyway, I digress. This is about the repair. Four screws removed around bottom of tray, one screw removed for some bar that mechanically opens a door to allow ice to fall out of the tray, and two butter knives used to release tabs around the screw components... and we were done.

Ice maker would not dispense ice, crushed or whole.
Removed the ice maker from the freezer. Unscrewed the outer cover/base of the ice maker. Unscrewed the long lever that opens the ice chute. This freed up the feeder coil enough to pull it out enough to replace the cup drive. Once I replaced the cup drive, I laid it back down into the ice maker bin, reattached all the screws and it worked! The old cup drive had a tine broken off which would not allow the feeder coil to turn. It seems like a weak part and I anticipate I may have to replace it again in a few years.

Plastic piece that holds up motor that pushes out ice cubes broke off from bucket glide
Took out ice tray and then slid motor out of right side bracket and sat on shelf. Removed the 3 screws holding up left side bucket glide first. Make sure you have correct size socket for the 3 screws on bucket glide. Works best with a screwdriver type socket tool. I then removed broken plastic piece from motor (screw in motor is different size than the ones for left side bucket glide). I put in new left side bucket glide (rear back screw a little bit of a challenge but it can be done) and then slid motor back into right side bracket and fastened motor to new plastic piece that sticks out from left side bucket glide. Put back in ice tray and good to go!
