Open compartment, installed bulb, closed compartment

took it to Buttermore appliance in Auburn Indiana and he changed the fan and added another fuse

Replace Magnetron and then I the inverter unit after I discovered the unit still did not heat properly. Inverter had capacitor that was cracked and I found a diode that was flashing over the printed circuit board.

Took the front off and behind a plate was the fuse, so I replaced it for what good that did!!!

The repair was easy, I just took off a few screws and found the broken latch spring. The real story is how easy it was to find the replacement spring from Partselect! I couldn't believe they had it, and even better yet, I ordered it one afternoon, and it came the next day with normal shipping! Unbelievable! Then I just popped it in and replaced the covers I had removed and it was working again!

Remove plastic retainer around glass front , then removed glass. Unscrewed handle and replaced new handle. I just installed the new grill.

You had alerted that it was imperative to unplug unit before starting to remove defective bulb. As described, there was silicon on bulb and socket and bulb broke upon my attempt to remove. Had to use needle nose pliers to get metal base of old bulb from socket, then all went well.

I want to thank PartSelect for thier assistance with my grease and filters that were needed for our microwave. We just bought a home and although the appiances are still in good working condition and only 6 years old they have not been maintaned well at all. The filers needed replacing and our local chain of hardware stores do not carry any of the sizes we needed. I went on line and found PartSelect.com and reviewed what they offered. I really could not find what I needed so I called customer service and the women on the other end of the phone went through in great detail as to the sizes and quantities I would need. Took the replacement plate out of the box and put it in the microwave in seconds. I never realized how much of a difference having the correct microwave plate would make. It's great to have it back.

The replacement grille fit to factory specs, requiring a simple snap in place installation.

1. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket. 2. Remove the 10 screws holding the bottom cabinet cover in place. The bottom cabinet cover will swing down allowing acces to the inside ofe the microwave. 3. Remove the connector from the turntable motor. 4. Use a T15 Torx driver to remove the 2 Torx screws holding the motor in place. 5. Remove the motor. 6. Reverse the process using the new motor.

First let me say that I tried several places to get what I thought was a simple light bulb. This included several national hardware stores as well as a national electrical supply company. No luck. Went to the manual and PartSelect. Not only did you have it in stock, ship right away,at a reasonable price it arrived in a matter of days. One would not normally think of receiving a "how to" video to change a light bulb but you did. That impressed me. I didn't do the repair -- my husband did, said it was easy, had no problems what so ever! The new bulbs give a lot more light to the cooking area.

Snap the new one in place.
