did not need adapter

exactly as the instructions.......never did see anything about replacing the adapter...therefore i did not

Poor water and ice taste, filter a few years old.

Very simple, I followed instructions sent with the filter. Twisted old filter clockwise 1/4 turn to remove. Filled new filter with water, lined up arrow on filter to arrow on refrigerator, and then turned 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Filter raised and seated itself. Wiped few drops of water from refrigerator shelf.
